KOAN Sound is easily one of the best up and coming producers of the year, without any hesitation.
He recently released his new album entitled Funk Blaster about a week ago and it has just blown up. Anyone who listens to dubstep should seriously check out this EP.
Funk Blaster (album) ranges from your primary sub heavy bass drops to the funky melodic wobbles. KOAN Sounds LFO must have been cranked to the max cause there are definitely some gnarly wobbles throughout his tunes.
I recently featured this song [Funk Blaster] in a mixtape for 8tracks, but I felt it deserves it's own post. Funk Blaster is one of the songs off of the album with a really interesting melody that is very hard to find. In a way, I am somewhat reminded of Zenji with his songs.
