AIMES is a Brooklyn based electronic producer who has just recently released his debut album entitled You Floor is Now a Tree which you can stream here. The second I started listening to the album, I was sold and now AIMES has released a mixtape with a bunch of unreleased tracks and some extras for free. The mixtape is called Sorry Bout Ur Fame and it is just as mellow and relaxing as the album.
The Music
Much like that of the album, the mixtape exudes a strong sense of happiness and melodious warmths. It is an escape and by that I mean, you forget about everything and get lost in the music. An escape from the stresses and headaches that you go through each day. It's a beautiful contemporary piece of soothed sounds coupled with the pads that hit home. It's upbeat, it's catchy and its above all, music to my ears. If you like this mixtape, then you will surely like the album. Enjoy!
